First, you must be authorised to configure the PortalHuntBot in order to make settings. Then you can work through the following steps:

  • Put the following command in a private chat to the bot "/config".
  • Select the linked chat in the bot.
  • Press "FS Data" in the menu and retrieve the data from FevGames.
  • Now set up the PortalHunt Google Sheet as described in the bot. Do not use the command "/readsheet" yet.

If you have received the image from FevGames, open it in a graphics program of your choice. Save each portal image with the following naming scheme "[col][rownumber].jpg" (Example: A1.jpg, A2.jpg, B1.jpg) and pack the result as a zip file.

Once the PortalHunt bot is configured and the portal images are available as a zip file, you can make them available to the frontend as follows:

  • Put the following command in a private chat to the bot "/config".
  • Select the linked chat in the bot.
  • Press "FS Data" in the menu and open the "Image Upload" link. The link is temporary and signed.
  • An upload form for your event will open in the browser. Upload your zip file here.
  • Write the bot a private message "/readsheet". The initial load from the Google Sheet is synchronised with the bot and WebPortals.

Just share the link to WebPortals with the FevGames event id with the participants. A clear table with the portal coordinates and preview image will be displayed. By clicking on the image it will be enlarged and can be viewed in detail. Found portals are reported in the bot as specified.
